Students who choose to earn their degree in engineering can either complete their bachelor’s degree at an accredited school or finish their undergraduate degree at a community college. Students who want to pursue a PhD are encouraged to attend a traditional college or university to earn both their bachelor’s degree and a Doctorate degree from a nationally recognized university.

Bachelors of Science in Structural Analysis courses include calculus, structural analysis, numerical methods, design methodology, and mechanics. Students who complete a degree may choose to pursue a masters in structural analysis or another graduate program. Students who complete the masters in structural analysis have completed all of the core coursework, have a solid foundation in calculus and mechanics and have at least two years of clinical or internship experience.

The master’s degree requires two years of undergraduate study. These two years of study will prepare students to take the Graduate Certificate program, which will include a core curriculum in analysis, calculation, and numerical method. as well as advanced courses in design methodology. The core curriculum includes calculus and mechanics as part of the core courses.

Masters in structural analysis also require two years of undergraduate study. Students complete one year of coursework in the Graduate Certificate in structural analysis followed by two years of graduate study. Students must complete a master’s degree in structural analysis or a master’s degree in engineering prior to applying for a Doctorate in structural analysis.

Students pursuing a masters in structural analysis must complete two years of undergraduate study with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a two-year graduate program. The program is designed to train students for careers as designers and assessors for structural analysis projects and foundations, beams, girders, columns, and beams, and trusses. The program focuses on analysis, design, and analysis for various structures and methods. Students should be prepared to work in either the civil, mechanical, or structural engineering field.
